- <p>Lot of recent sluffing of the new low density snow in steep terrain. These all looked like dry sluffs with some of them enough to boss a person around as they picked up speed and snow while moving downhill. Temperatures remained slightly cool today and kept the wet activity in check, and the snow on upper elevation north facing slopes remained dry until you got onto the flats where it became slightly damp. </p>
Many of the steeper high elevation north facing terrain looked to have gone through a natural cycle with heavy amounts of low density snow easily sluffing during high snow rates. Some of these could easily boss a person around.
The snow today would sluff easily on high cold north facing slopes, these sluffs could be a problem and stack up the snow in confined terrain like gulleys.

- <p>I checked new snow as the main concern today as the sluffs were still on the dry side for steep high elevation north facing slopes. These will likely be more on the wet side this weekend as temps warm up. </p>
Amazing riding and turning conditions today and even I felt like I was getting after it with over the hood conditions. A nice solid two feet of low density snow that rode quite well, a few places the old hard tracks were felt, but riders were stoked to be out on this sunny day.
