- <p>More cracking and collapsing of the snow pack today as I did a quick circuit in the Murdock Mountain area. That was enough red flag warning to watch my slope angles and play it safe.</p>
Snow cover still looking a little thin and rocky along the Murdock Mountain ridge line and plenty of collapsing sounds coming from the snow pack.
You might still find a few older wind slabs that needed a little coaxing before they would crack and move. Could be a fresh round of wind drifted snow with tonights storm.
Snowpack
Soft settled snow today around Bald Mt Pass and decent riding conditions, but still watching for hidden hazards.
