Red Flags Comment

No red flags were observed at traveled elevations: 8300-9300.

With the goal of finding the line between this season's upper and lower elevation snowpacks, travels from 8300' to 9300' helped to gather some key data. From an almost 0 height of snow, to 65cm at best at the upper end of the observed elevation range, the snowpack is no doubt thin. Additionally, the "quadra-crust" structure others have observed was present, with little strong snow to speak of. Snow above the Christmas Eve Crust was observed to be round and small in grain size. Finally, weak snow near the ground was present in the attached snow profile, but was not observed to be continuous across terrain, and did not attribute to any red flags.
