<p>The larger issue is still the cornices. They are extremely large with unstable overhanging thinning support. Finding openings is a challenging task since getting to an observation point may put you in peril. There have been observations of these things breaking off in bus size chunks even on approach to look for access points on slopes. As the temps warm this week instability in the cornice structures will increase.</p>

Snowpack

Some aspects have great corn skiing as you move around the compass. Other areas still need some time with colder nights and a more gradual warming during the day. The snowpack is very well behaved and the terrain has really opened up with good stability.
