We skied up to stadium glacier and did a few laps through the left gully, the trees near the up track, Moranes left (#6 on Eric Certer's map), and Home Run. On the uptrack at about 1500m, a hand shear on a 40-degree NE-facing feature gave resistant but planar results down 40cm on a crust. At 1700 meters on a north aspect, we found wind-affected surface snow and 60cm of snow over a very thick crust. Sking down to 1600m along the Moranes east of stadium gully (#6 on Eric Carter's map) on a sheltered N aspect, we had one skier accidentally trigger a small slide of 20cm of storm snow that ran a few meters. The crown was about 5 meters wide and broke along a convex roll. Unfortunately, we didn't get close enough to see the bed surface or take a picture (sorry!). Home Run was filled in at the top but freezing levels were around 1350m and the snow was really heavy.
