Jan perley rock

Good skiing at Perley Rock today. Terrain above treeline had wind slabs with a dusting of fresh snow on. No shooting cracks or whumpfing observed. Snow pack was thin in some sections- glacial ice still visible; some cliff bands still bare; some alders down low still to be contended with; creeks still daylit (not filled in). Partner got a sizeable core shot on the way down, so beware of those lurking rocky sharks. Snow was heavy with a slight crust near the valley bottom. The skin track is in good condition for travel!
