Pokeys Peak

Quick lap up Pokeys Peak. Below treeline there was lots of faceted snow and willows/alder made for fun trail breaking. At ridgetop, open terrain was wind affected with and we could feel a wind slab about 10 cms down, sitting above facets. Felt one whumpf. Tricky skiing on the way down with lots of snow snakes in the trees to get your ACL (ski hill was closed and as such we did not enter back on to the hill).
