Sa size 2 slide in the basin below cassiope peak. Skier was partially buried up to their neck. Occurred at about 1100 on Jan 10. Skier was the third person down the slope and entered about 15feet above the previous 2 tracks on a convex roll where the slope fractured. Crown 30-50cm, aspect south east, elev ~ 2000m, didn't measure slope angle but probably in the 35-40 range. Skier was dragged about 100m and was quickly dug out by the skiers that were at the bottom of the slope. No injuries, no lost gear, everyone skied out to the Hwy. Of note, winds on the day were from the ne so not likely new wind slab from recent storm snow but rather an old stubborn wind slab from last weeks outflow winds. The recent storm snow was quite reactive to ski cuts, but only producing crowns in the 15-20cm range. Please forward any questions, all involved are happy to share and learn from the experience.
