Quick Observation

On Feb 8 observed ~last 24hr old 1x sz 1.5 in steep convex roll half way down simpsons gulch ~ 1550m elv on east aspect running deep and entraining snow near ground. Also observed ~last 24hr hold sz 2 crown on SE aspect ~2000m above right hand twin falls. Any crowns visible that far away are deep. Feb 9th from town observed several new Na. 1x sz3-3.5 in the middle 5000 triangle running to ground SE aspect ~1800-1900m elv. 1x sz 1.5-2 in NE aspect steep terrain to skiers right of upper 5000 pitch, crowns and flank variable looks like running in very low cohesion soft slab. Also new sz 2 slab in simpsons gulch ~ 1650m elv east aspect. All slopes were subject to significant strong to extreme NW winds in last 24hr. Huge plumes visible yesterday pm and Sunday am.
