20/02/08 Back of Rhenshaw

Obvious signs of wind effected zones. Boot penetration of 45cm. Did a Compression test on a 25 degree south west facing slope around 1900m that had a sudden collapse at 25cm on hit #2 with second sudden collapse at 75 cm on hit #24. Results were repeated on second CT. Extended column test did not fail but we suspect if done on a steeper slope, it could potentially fail. Area had more fresh snow then was originally forecasted.
