Avalanche Information
Busy day on Young’s traverse. Witnessed a cornice fall. Coincidently had taken a photo a minute before the size 2.5 avalanche. Once we arrived at the summit of young’s, we could see a skin track about a foot away. It’s unclear to us if the cornice came down naturally or was triggered by the nearby skier as we couldn’t see if anyone was on the summit at the time. But 20+ tracks down Youngs peak today. About the same time there was a size 2 30cm - 40cm x 30m wide x 150m long suspecting Storm slab as no wind affect nearby. . Timing reference with others in thé are who had seen in earlier in the afternoon. There was a near by ski track, so suspect a Skier accidental without involvement.
