Quick Observation
Conditions deteriorated around 2000m where wind affected snow was mixed with 20-30cm of powder. The south side of east peak was wind scoured in places and conditions variable overall. Nicer powder skiing closer to 1900m and below. Lots of sharks still out there - hit 3.
Avalanche Information
Triggered a tiny slide on a test slope. Convex roll, skier tested/stomped and small slab propagate and slid down. Seems like a somewhat reactive layer.
Weather
Snowpack
Q2 shear quality. Lower 45cm of snowpack well consolidated and bonded together, finger density. No propagation on ECT. Multiple weak layers: second WL at 40cm and third at 45cm. All three are thin crusts 1cm or so thick with hand hardness more than 1 step harder than slab above them and grain sizes (viewed by eye) that are very different than respective slabs above.
