Quick Observation
Good early season ski conditions with 15cm fist snow overlying a supportive base. Wind or storm slab not apparent. No signs of instability and no oberserved Na in surrounding terrain. Calm winds throughout the day. Recent storm snow appears to be bonded at interface and not reactive. October crust was present with 5cm of faceting at the base. Caution - recent new snow has covered just enough of the rocks to instill confidence in faster turns. They are very much still there from top to bottom on the run. Most prevalent on runout and entry. A worthwhile early season mission, and great conditions for November.
