+2 in the parking lot, treeline temperatures were around -3C all day with strong south to southwest winds and thick cloud and light snow. The midpack was pretty weak consisting mostly of facets. Even on south aspects the suncusts barely supporting a skier.
Around any rocks you would sink to the ground. Found a few good turns on mellow slopes in the trees away from boulders and rocks. Alpine snow pack was highly variable and not really skiable except in wind loaded features. Minor cracking around the skin track and lots of fresh wind slab above 2400m. Not much skiable snow below 2000m.
