Mt. Seymour 1st peak

Dug a pit on a loaded leeward ENE aspect @ 1350m near 1st peak: CTH 21 (SP) down 12cm. CTH 27 (RP) down 50cm. Both went on mid storm intarfaces. 100cm! of dense and cohesive storm snow on top of the rain soaked surface where we dug in. That layer appears to be bonding well. Ski pen was 2-5cm on Styrofoam-like snow, with good edgehold on steep terrain.
