Outlook - Avalanche Crest

We enjoyed a beautiful day linking up Overlook Bowl and Avalanche Crest. After reading reports of widespread wind slab in the forecast, I didn't have high hopes. Turns out, my fears were misplaced. The only wind-effect we saw was across the valley around The Dome. On our side, on west-facing slopes, the snow was great and we enjoyed some great powder. The biggest concern we faced was sluffing on steep slopes. Weather wise, it was cold in the shade but not bad in the sun. There was very little wind and it clouded over throughout the day. One other thing to note is Avalanche Crest has clearly seen a lot of traffic recently. The recent snow has done a decent job of burying tracks, but they're still noticeable.
