Massive west facing slidepath

Went out to Massive pass and the west facing slopes. On the skin in we noticed some size 1s in the Avi paths on Pilot mountain in the steeper terrain likely from a day or two ago. We opted to ski the west Avi paths over the pass as it looked less wind affected. On our uptrack we weren't happy with the feeling of support of the snow on the drought crust. Decided not to continue into the steeper terrain.
