Quick Observation

2400m, east aspect, -4C, light snow 2km vis, with moderate SW winds and hard gusts. Snow depth 84cm, with 7cm storm snow over the Nov 23 rain/temperature crusts. Moderate CT(12) down 22cm (above Halloween crust?) and same down 32cm (below Halloween crust?). The basal 40cm of previously faceted snow felt very moist - could easily make snowballs with it. Skiing was interesting with lots of exposed rain crust with pockets of wind sift.
