Hanging Lake

A natural avalanche cycle occurred today during the storm. Any and all slope steeper than 35deg that were unsupported were letting go (big and small). Whumpfing/cracking evident above 1200m during ascent to 1350m. Decided it was a good day to head back down the way we came as it was too deep to even ski outside the skin track. Wednesday should buff out the rest that does not go naturally by then.
