We rode to the Renshaw cabin area and saw evidence of two older (1-2 weeks) persistent slab avalanches. We encountered the debris pile from the first one just a few km up the trail. It looked to be about a size 3.5. We then saw a roughly 50 m wide and 50 cm deep crown fracture on a slope above 'show off hill', just past the cabin. Travel was super easy on a supportive crust with some thin pockets of wind-blown snow. Wind and snowfall increased over the day.
