Teddy Bear Trees storm skiing

Short day on Teddy Bear Trees. 10-15cm overnight helped fill in the tracks a little more than the previous day's accumulation. We dug pits at 1550 and 1980m on W aspects. Moderate RP and B results 30cm down on DF sz 2.0. One of two tests in the higher pit saw CTM18 RP down 55. Above ~1800m the storm slab seemed to get progressively slabbier and when a group ahead informed us they were headed down, we followed suit. A fair bit of sloughing all the way down but the skiing was excellent in the trees.
It was disappointing to see a party skin through the closed Grizzly Shoulder WRA to get up to Teddy Bear. Make sure you know the boundaries before heading out there, especially when there are closures.
