auto: Quick Report

drew_goldsack, Saturday 8th February, 2025 10:38PM

Observed the debris of a large size 2-3 slab avalanche that ran full historic path at the west end of Tryst Lake. Looked to have come down in the last 12-24 hours. (See attached) Couldn't see the start zone from our vantage point on the ridge so tough to gauge size but given the runout and size of visible debris, it was quite large. There was also evedince of a size 1 slide in one of the eastern chutes on the north slope leading to the lake, a crown could be seen as well as debris in the runout part way down the chute.
