Pulpit 4

We wanted to ski some gladed runs on Pulpit 5 but didn't end up making it. Bow River is nicely passable. Beyond that point the travel was strenuous and slow. Valley bottom had about 50 cm HS, mostly facets. Swimming in facets up to 1900m on heinous skin track. Snow was a bit more supportive in 1975m with 110 cm HS. We were a bit late to our liking so we turned around and skied our skin track. First few turns were quite nice, but we couldn't link our turns lower down - sinking too deep with each turn. We haven't experienced snowpack like this before in the last 6 years in Bow Valley. Not sure if it can improve any time soon.
