Heroes Knob

We found up to 40cm of dry fist snow with no wind effect on top of a supportive crust on alpine polar aspects up to 2400m. Made for excellent powder skiing Tons of evidence of old avalanches up to size 3 especially on South and East aspects. Top 5-10cm of snow becoming moist on solar aspects in the afternoon. We observed debris from a sz 2 slab on south aspect looking like it released within the last 12 hours.
