The Wombydum

Decided to head up The Womb last minute when we realized that all the restricted areas in the Pass were closed again. 10cm of low-density snow covered the track from the previous day. Some sluff buried the skin track on the steep pitch of the finger just before gaining the ridge. Broke trail passed the entrance for the last finger off the ridge thru 25cm of fresh snow. The steep slope that runs off the summit on the skier's left sluff a little but nothing major. After digging a pit by the entrance we dropped in the fresh bowl. Awesome run with minimum sluffing and no sign of instability. Early season hazard down low made up for an interesting exit.
