The standard traverse route had some funk to it! Some of the cornices have particular detached from the ridge leaving hard to see man eaters. This combined with a decent amount of faceting and thin coverage in spots made for tricky navigation.
Thorington Glacier was tragically bad… the avalanche debris skied better than the open slope. Would avoid that crusty boy for a while. The best skiing in that area seems to be on N-NE aspects between 2300m-1700m
