Rode tally ho. Thin breakable crust near surface. Supportive layer below until you dip a ski and your sled goes full submarine into the facets. Once you get in tune w the snowpack and how it reacts to the user inputs the riding is very good out there.
Dug a pit and got some easy to hard sudden planar results on the facet layer down ~40. No propagation on an extended column. HS ~90.
Observed some sledders with no equipment or knowledge riding steep avalanche terrain. No slides were triggered.
