Weak layer? I barely know her

Widespread buried weak layers at all aspects and elevation bands. Below treeline it was very easy to release small slabs on the newly buried surface hoar. Stepping just off the skin track easily triggered all test slopes, propagating >10 m, between 15-30cm thick (including a couple remote triggers above the skin track). Even tree bombs were dislodging cookies with ease! At treeline, consistent whumphing was strong enough to knock snow off trees 25 meters away. Decided not to try and outsmart this problem and got some great party skiing in Ursus Trees along with half of Revelstoke. Heavy snow below 1600m on the way out.
