I triggered several nice shooting cracks and broke out a couple small wind slabs where strong west wind yesterday built stiff drifts on the lee side of the ridge.
The snow on the backside is shallow and it has become pretty weak and sugary in many areas. The snow surface is plagued by smaller-grained sugary facets and feathery surface hoar.
