Instability Comment

Evidence of widespread activity in Slide Canyon and Chablis during the storm is beginning to get obscured. Overall, good stability and structure, but was able to find the 1/9 buried SH/NSF down 30cm in a sheltered area at 8600ft NE, producing STH Q1, CTM SP. In locations that have avalanched we were unable to find this layer. Old, hard wind slabs are scattered about, most unreactive or very stubborn.

Wet loose still possible to initiate on S'ly aspects below 8000ft. with daytime warming.

Creamy pseudo corn on SE in the morning, a stiff breeze helped to keep the surface cool while underneath softened up making for some good skiing.
