I am assuming these avalanches started during this weeks heavy snow Tuesday night or Wednesday morning, just below the ridgeline on the east facing side of the upper bowl. Likely one avalanche triggered others across the ridgeline. The avalanche probably ran well over 2,000 vertical feet. The debris field at the base was covered by 4-6 inches of new snow, likely from the storms Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
