We observed evidence of natural avalanche activity from during the recent storm and the first hit of sun earlier in the morning.

Very deep snow (13--14 feet!) covers the camp ground facilities.....Might be a late opening this spring.
Very found very deep new snow from this week's storm. Great powder riding in the morning, difficult trail breaking, impressive coverage, even in south facing terrain, and gigantic and very scary looking cornices.

- <p>We stayed well away and out from under these monsters.</p> <p>We observed evidence of natural wet activity. </p> <ol> <li>Numerous small wet loose avalanches occurred in the morning on very steep east facing slopes near the lake. </li> <li>We noticed that a couple fresh pretty large wet loose avalanches ran into the Logan River below Temple Fork in the afternoon. </li> </ol>
Deep! Trenching while breaking trail. We found nice powder in north facing terrain. Even that and all other aspects were affected by solar warming by late afternoon.
