Post storm at ski hill

25 cm storm snow last 24 over about 15 from earlier in the week. Ski pen below tline 40 cm and 25 cm above treeline. Above treeline new storm snow sitting on harder windslab or wind affected snow. Very Weak soft slab development with minor cracking when cutting steep slopes but very little propagation and very resistant to running. Photo shows one upper treeline ne aspect steep wind loaded feature that failed with hard stomping but only propagated down and out at 45 deg for 1.5m and barely running downhill before stopping with resistance of soft snow below. Expect any solar radiation in the days ahead to strongly affect solar aspects. Had a good look at little Simpsons with no recent avalanches noted.
