Strong winds the last couple days affected most slopes, either scouring some or loading others. Today, wind was calm to light under mostly clear skies with temps in 20s to 30s F. Did not see any recent avalanches, but a few that were 2-3 days old. We dug a pit at 10,250 feet on an east aspect and had ECTNs 6-8" down and 12-16" down below wind slabs. There were small facets below the most recent wind slab. The facets from January were buried 2-2.5' deep, are relatively hard, and we got ECTN25+ on them.

On a gentle slope near flat terrain we saw a crack 50-75 feet long that had formed prior to us being there, but wasn't vey old. Looked like a large collapse from a previous group crossing, and based on probing it may have collapsed two feet deep below hard slabs on weak sugary facets. No recent avalanches observed.
