Quick report

On both runs, (fairly open, lightly treed slopes only) powder conditions were excellent and deeper than expected. Other than sluffing that we would expect with that much powder on a steep slope, no avalanche signals picked up or seen. On the skin up, on steep N facing aspects, there was some settlement observed, but no bonding/layers in the upper 30-40" and or no propagating of the snowpack near settlements to give us any concern, rather just powder conditions. We did approach a few wind scoured & mildly drifting / slabbing WNW facing slopes above 6000' but we were not planning on skiing that snow, and it is typical in that spot, and avoided easily by just favoring the N slopes.
