Quick report
Partly cloudy with no new snow. Light wind from the south down low in the canyon and no wind higher up nor on the ridge. HS near top of ascent at 8400 feet was 110cm. Snow was soft and fluffy with supportable layers about a foot below the surface. Hoar present on surface of snow on N, E and S aspects. We dug a pit on E face at 8400 feet and got an ECT-X.
