Red Flags Comment

We observed 2 small skier triggered slides on more northerly facing terrain. One above the cat track on the way up to the first meadow, and the other directly above the lower pick up. We also observed what appeared to be a skier triggered or cornice drop in Cardiff Bowl and another slide in Toledo Chute after artillery work had been completed. Localized cracking in areas with a wind slab. Wind loading noted on northerly aspects.

Some NSF layers noted in the upper pack, but not repeatable results. Most responsive layer with ski cuts was 20cm down about 1-2cm above the new/old snow interface Although not reactive with tests. Layer 20cm off of ground high consequence/low probabilty.

Snowpack

Slight sun crust noted on snow surface.
