Quick report
Santa delivered just what we were hoping for in the central Swan range. 20-30cm of right side up pow seemingly glued to a variety of crusts. Most hasty pits showed the underlying dense crusts breaking down a bit, i.e. saving us from a dust on crust feel. SE exposures, had firmer underlying crusts than E and NE slopes. No avalanches observed, but lots of sluffing in the top few cm’s. Very little wind effect visible and only the slightest fresh cornice development.
