Quick report
On the SW aspect up Toni Matt the snow didn't get deep until close to the summit. The N and NE aspects on the backside had three distinct layers with a drier snow layer close to the ground covered by a thin crust. When probed with a ski pole the melt freeze crust gave way to a vacuous dry layer of snow close to the ground. SW facing slopes and trees had a notable rime forming. Good skiing but definitely will be keeping an eye on the drier snow at the ground present on NE aspects as the season continues.
Snowpack
Front side had pretty thin snow until near the summit. Backside had three distinct layers, 8 inches of denser newish snow, a 0.5 inch melt freeze crust, and 8 more inches of drier snow
