Quick report
Aside from the old natural slide up top in Cascade, we encountered no signs of instability. Skies were obscured for much of the day, no notable wind or snow transport. Light skiff of snow between laps. Light rime layer from 5200 ft to the top of the ridge. We dug a pit at 6000 ft, N facing, with unremarkable results. HS 205, CT22 at 170, ECTX. A sporty up-track led us to soft, lovely turns for much of the drainage, unspoiled by the rime, followed by a not-so-casual exit along the creek.

NNE facing, naturally triggered, dry loose, looks a few days old, ran approx 100 feet, upper 30 degrees. Quite small, unable to visualize the start zone.
