I came upon the scene 10 minutes after the slide but met the rider later in the day. He was going up slope turning to the lower angle side (left) when it broke out behind him. His track can be seen on the left of one of the pictures. Slide went to the grass in the middle and both sides rose to a weak layer of facets about 12" to 18" down.
