Quick report
Great day in the rain and wet snow on Tincan. We did confirm heavy rainfall occurred up to 2,200' last night and possibly higher. By the time we got up to that elevation the rain had turned to snow. No other groups were out. Skiing down was, well, interesting.
Due to such poor visibility, we could not see the slopes for any signs of avalanches.

Steady rainfall at the parking lot, turning to wet snow around 2,000'. Snowing heavily at 2,200', our high point.
Snowpack
No surprise, but there is no snowpack at 1,000', only patches of old wet snow on the ground. Snow depth slowly increases to 4' or so by 2,000'.
No snow pits were dug, just poked in the wet snow with our poles now and again. By 1pm around 2" of wet snow had accumulated on a wet saturated snowpack at 2,200'. Heavily snowing when we left.
