Snowpack

Snow surfaces thawed early on all but most northerly aspects (to ~10,000') where dry and moist snow was capped in places with a 2cm crust. Best turns seem to be previously sunbaked or wind hammered firm surfaces where the recent storm snow has fully settled and rounded. Skier's left side of Little Tucks was ripe at about noon.  Strong solars in sheltered areas were getting wet enough for loose wet avalanches to be a concern by mid-day.
