Quick report

Condition/coverage photos from Mt Gibbs from a few different dates: 2/24, 3/9, 3/16. Dramatic difference before and after the early March storm. Start zones look thin and hammered but midslopes and runouts still hold snow load. Like many obs have pointed out, snow loading vs. scouring seems to be more closely tied to wind exposure than aspect. I didn't travel past the road on 3/16. From afar, coverage looks pretty similar before and after the N winds from 3/14. The largest change in the last timeframe was how much low elevation thin-snow spots had melted out. The approach up Bohler Canyon had been mostly continuous snow cover prior, but I'm not sure it goes on skis now.
