Quick report
Early start tour to Red Cone Bowl. Skinning was mostly joyful with 1-2in of fresh snow. Still mixed conditions. Wind stripped near the ridges, no surprise there. Reverse tracks in the N facing bowl confirmed wind was transporting snow onto S/SW aspects during the breezy few days among scattered snow showers. Test slopes showed no signs of instability on the way up. Not a ton of snow even in wind loaded areas - maybe 3-5in. Clouds over duck pass stayed over there. Back to the car by 11am, so did not personally observe any warming effects. Not until having a beer at eagle lodge, where it was a slush fest by end of day. First observation, per Clancy’s request from us at the Brewery last week - hope it helps!
