Early short lap in Bishop Creek this morning. Shooting cracks on almost every wind-loaded test slope made us stick to lower angles and keep it tight on the up and down.

Winds shifted northwest and moved up in elevation early this morning. Intense blowing snow from northwest winds on the Bishop skyline through ~9:30, decreasing to only isolated areas above treeline by 10 am. Clear skies. Very cold.
Snowpack
With pole probing, we felt two hard crusts/wind boards between the surface and the depth hoar we know is lurking at the bottom of the shallow snowpack. Our high point was ~9500'. No collapses or other feedback from the persistent slab problem.
