Quick report

Generally cold right side up snow. Winds increasing through the day est 10-20 before noon, 20-30 gusting to 50 in the afternoon mostly s/sw. Significant spindrift blowing off the mammoth crest. Returning to duck pass around 2pm s facing aspects were hot and wet. Generally most other aspects stayed cold thanks to the temps and wind.

Avalanche

Several partially buried avalanche debris piles (est d2) observed north west of duck pass and on pika peak. Two naturally triggered avalanches appeared at some point during the hike, a d1 loose dry on a n aspect near pika Peak and a d1 cornice fall on a east aspect near peak 3560.
