Profiles below. New and wind instabilities have mostly settled out and non-reactive.
Went looking for the Monday Nov 7 rain crust and to see if any facets or weaknesses formed adjacent to the crust. None noted...likely because it was buried so quickly by subsequent snowfall. Worth continuing to monitor....Rain crust observed up to 8800', possibly exists to 9000'.
Outlook: with a dry weather forecast on tap, I expect the snow to remain mostly stable while the snow surfaces become weak on the northerly aspects and stoutly crusted on the solar aspects.
Snowpack
Northerlies will remain 5 star while East>South>West will be crusted in the morning.
Low elevations are particularly good for this time of year with a good stout rain crust capped with graupel and new snow. 15-25" settled base.
