We were at the trailhead at 6am and it felt like the northwest, wet and wild. Photo of the dark cloud sitting on the snow, with SW winds fairly persistent all morning.

- <p>The wind blown snow was sitting on Tuesdays crust, with weak snow beneath the crust. I wasn't able to get much to propagate but more sun exposed areas with new snow could become touchy with this new weight on top.</p> <p> </p> <p>Continuing to watch for fresh wind slabs within the new snow from the strong winds on all aspects will be important the next few days. </p>
