We had low clouds with scattered snow flurries until mid-afternoon when it became partly sunny.
Snowpack
We assessed the snowpack at ~11,600 on a north aspect. We found variable depths ranging from 150 to >300 cm. In our main data pit, we found two sun crusts with a small facet layer below each crust that were ~150 cm below the surface of the snow. These layers were not reactive with traditional compression tests. However, one of the crusts became reactive when the top 100 cm of snow was removed, and an ECT was performed on the lower snowpack (ECTP 22- Sudden Planar @ ~150).
